Here's How Those The Valley Breakups Affected Janet & Jason Caperna's Marriage: “We Check In”
The Valley cast members are keeping their marriage in line amid their cast members separating.
Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna's marriage is stronger than ever after Season 1 of The Valley.
The Valley cast had seen their fair share of separations in Season 1. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced they would be splitting and taking some time apart from their marriage in February. Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei Lally officially separated in October 2023.
But, Janet and Jason are still going strong. In an interview with Us Weekly on Monday, July 22, Janet admitted that these separations had made her nervous, but they have found ways to keep their marriage in check.
"I think it'd be crazy not to look at everything and be like, 'Oh, is this good?'" Janet, who gave birth to their first child — a baby boy — in December 2023, said. "But Jason and I check in with each other."
What have Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna been up to since The Valley Season 1?
Since Season 1 wrapped, Janet and Jason have been fully living their lives, hanging out with their son, and experiencing their first milestones together. Jason celebrated his first Father's Day in June, while Janet got to spend time with her family for Mother's Day in May.
The couple has been spending a lot of time hanging out with their friends this summer. In an Instagram carousel, posted to her account on July 10, Janet posted photos of her spending time by the pool with Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay and Lala Kent, attending a movie premiere with Brittany and Michelle, going to a party with Nia Booko, and traveling with Jason.
"Lately," Janet captioned the super fun photos, along with a white heart emoji.

Just like his wife, Jason is confident in his relationship with Janet. Although Janet was in the center of some drama throughout season one of The Valley (ahem, the Big Bear trip), their relationship is nothing but solid.
"If I had to rate our relationship right out of 10, 10 out of 10," Jason told The Daily Dish in May.
