Is This the Most Awkward Watch What Happens Live Call Ever?
Watch what happens... when you can't get a #WWHL caller off the phone.
You never know what you're going to get when a caller phones in to Watch What Happens Live, and we certainly weren't expecting anything as confoundingly hilarious as the final caller during the After Show on Wednesday night (clip above).
When a caller simply known as "Bobby G from the Bronx" rang in to the WWHL After Show, it was clear from the get-go that he is definitely a talker. After telling Andy Cohen his hopes that he'll become Kelly Ripa's permanent LIVE co-host and wishing Luann de Lesseps a "Good evening," Bobby G totally fanboyed over guest Michael Rapaport and his work in such projects as Cop Land, Public Morals, and Dice. "Dad! Dad! Come on, they know it's you, Dad!" Michael joked after all the admiration.
Bobby G eventually got his question(s) in, asking Michael if he would ever work with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Ed Burns again. And Michael said he would, obviously.
But Bobby G just kept on staying on the line, no matter how many times Andy, Luann, and Michael said goodbye. "Where's Jill Zarin?" Luann joked, referring to Bobby Zarin, the husband of The Real Housewives of New York City alum. The whole thing was bizarre and hilarious at the same time.
We honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bobby G was still on the phone right now.
