We Have a Major Update on Dolores Catania and David Principe's Relationship
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member shares a fun experience with her boyfriend and family.
Dolores Catania's relationship with boyfriend David Principe has long been a buzzy topic as The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members have previously shared their thoughts about the couple, who are still not engaged nor living together despite being in an exclusive relationship for several years. "I really feel this guy loves me," Dolores told Andy Cohen during the RHONJ Season 11 reunion. "I don't know if he knows how to be in a relationship, really."
She added that because of David's busy schedule as a doctor, they usually see each other once a week: "I wish we saw each other more."
It turns out that Dolores and the Garden State doctor are still going strong, as confirmed by a recent appearance together on their first-ever game show, Cash at Your Door. "I never thought I would be on a game show...That was surreal to me," Dolores told E! News in an exclusive interview. "I'm not a game kind of person. I literally played Jenga for the first time the other day."
The RHONJ mom couldn’t believe it when host Jason Biggs showed up at her door, saying she was “starstruck” when she first met him. "I was so shy, I don't know what happened to me," she said in her E! News interview.
David and Dolores, along with her ex-husband, Frank Catania, their two kids Frankie Catania and Gabby Catania, in addition to another family friend, played Cash at Your Door working together to try and win up to $25,000 for charity by answering trivia questions — and Dolores mentioned “all that tuition payment paid off” as her kids got a surprising number of them correct.
Though Dolores and David have managed to make their relationship work over the last several years, even with his busy work schedule as a doctor, she recently also shared quality time with the other special man in her life: her son, Frankie.
Earlier this month, the RHONJ mom took to Instagram to share a sweet throwback photo of the mother-son duo on his birthday. “Happy birthday to my not so little, Little Frankie,” Dolores wrote in the caption of the October 8 post.
She added, “I couldn’t be prouder of all the accomplishments you have made in such a short amount of time. Your compassion [and] worth ethic that you give to this world is unmatched! Love you endlessly.”
