Heather Gay Explains Exactly How She Is Related to Whitney Rose
The RHOSLC cast members have a connection that runs deep in their family.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast has lots of history together, but did you know that Heather Gay and Whitney Rose’s connection goes back generations? Heather recently took to Twitter to explain exactly how she and Whitney are connected.
In a December 21 tweet, Heather replied to a viewer who wanted to know exactly how she and is related to Whitney. “My great grandmother and Whit’s great grandfather are siblings,” she explained.
This would make the RHOSLC cast members third cousins, as it means they share a great-great-grandparent back four generations.
In addition to sharing ancestors, Whitney and Heather have a really great friendship. They’ve recently shown each other some major love on social media, including a behind-the-scenes photo Heather posted after the episode in which she threw her Beauty Lab employees a baby shower.
“Throwback of our little cousin kiki after the baby shower,” Heather captioned the post, with Whitney adding, “I love you so much,” and the hashtag “buzzin’ cousins” as a comment.
Heather also gave us a glimpse at a special moment from Whitney’s vow renewal, which was featured in the RHOSLC series premiere. “Thank you for sharing your special day with me Whit (and now with the rest of the world!)” Heather wrote alongside a gorgeous photo of the cousins.
