Heather Dubrow Shares a New Family Photo in Honor of Terry’s Birthday
The RHOC cast member also shared a peek at her and her husband’s Cabo San Lucas getaway.
Dr. Terry Dubrow was feeling the love.
As The Real Housewives of Orange County husband turned 65 this week (September 14), his wife and children took to Instagram to share heartwarming messages in honor of his special day. RHOC’s Heather Dubrow posted a photo carousel that began with a sweet snap of her and her husband out to dinner with their four kids: 19-year-old son, Nick, and his twin sister, Max; 16-year-old daughter, Kat; and 12-year-old son, Ace.
The Orange County mom also shared photos of her and Terry at the Chateau Dubrow, the 22,000-square-foot mansion they sold nearly a year ago. The slides showed the husband and wife embracing each other at the property and sharing a kiss during Heather’s HD Network party, which was featured on Episode 13 of RHOC Season 17.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY [Dr. Dubrow]!!!!” Heather captioned the post. “We all love you SO much… and this year I am even more grateful to be celebrating you.”
Terry Dubrow receives birthday wishes from his kids
Kat, Nick, and Max also shared touching throwback photos and birthday messages for their father. The latter referred to Terry as the “best dad of all time” as well as the “best cat grandpa” to her beloved fur baby, Vincent.
“[H]appy birthday to my favorite person,” Max wrote in a September 14 Instagram Story. “I love being your mini me. Thank you for all the wisdom you have imparted on me and the amazing life you have given me. I love you so so so much dad!!!”
Terry Dubrow’s Health Scare
The celebratory message came more than a month after Terry experienced a medical emergency. The plastic surgeon addressed the incident during an interview with TMZ, saying it all began when he started slurring his speech during dinner with Heather and Nick. Although Terry recalled feeling just fine at the time, Heather relentlessly urged him to receive a medical evaluation. Terry ultimately obliged and went on to learn he had suffered a “transient ischemic attack” (TIA), a potentially fatal condition that causes stroke-like symptoms.
“I’m gonna try to say this without crying,” he said during a virtual appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, “but the only reason I’m standing here today and not six feet under is because of my best friend and beloved wife’s insistence that I go to the emergency room and get checked out. She saved my life. That’s just the way it goes. So, what can I say? I love my wife and she saved my life.”
Heather and Terry’s Romantic Getaways
Heather also shared a peek at her and Terry’s recent Mexican siesta. The OC mom uploaded a photo of her and Terry enjoying some drinks by the pool while soaking up the summer sun.
“Throwback to being in Cabo last week with my Honyi,” she wrote in a September 14 Instagram post, before referencing the RHOC Season 17 reunion, “[and] CHEERS to my scheduled breakdown being OVER and surviving the reunion!”
Terry will continue to celebrate his 65th birthday later this month, when he and Heather travel to Europe for Paris Fashion Week. He touched on their plans during an August 23 interview with E! News, suggesting it would be a husband-and-wife-only trip.
“Heather and I — she got invited to a Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris, so we’re going to take that invitation and make sort of a birthday trip to France and celebrate there,” he said. “We’ve been married a long time and I’m not the most romantic guy in the world, but we do little trips. Rather than go on long vacations we try to do little frequent trips.”
