Heather Altman Shares Her "Elevated" Closet Items and What She Refuses to Splurge on
The MDLLA agent revealed her go-to wardrobe essentials as a busy working mom.
When it comes to fashion, Heather Altman has mastered the art of mixing high and low.
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent demonstrated this in a styling video for BravoTV.com, where she provided an inside look at her stylish yet practical wardrobe.
Heather — who was joined by her 4-year-old son, Ace — highlighted some of her favorite closet items that reflected her go-to “elevated mom” aesthetic, which included monochromatic athleisurewear; Chanel sneakers and boots; an Alo brown puffer jacket; and, one of her favorite pieces, a white corseted button-up from L’Academie.
“I love a good corset top,” Heather said. “It just sucks you in the right spot. You just look — that hourglass shape.”

Heather then returned to her clothing rack to reveal the pants she typically wears with her corset top.
“I love to pair them with Zara jeans,” she continued while pulling out the medium-wash denim. “I don’t splurge on jeans anymore.”
The pairing underscored the trick to mixing high and low garments: save money on more basic items and splurge on special statement pieces.

Heather Altman says "You don't have a break the bank" to look stylish
Heather, who described her personal style as “elevated but basic,” made similar comments in a 2022 video for BravoTV.com, in which she shared a handful of chic business outfits.
The LA-based realtor — who shares two children with her husband, Josh Altman — emphasized the power of simplicity and versatility, as most of her pieces were logo- and pattern-free; but make no mistake, Heather’s outfits were far from boring, as she enjoyed adding eye-catching details to each ensemble. For example, she suggested layering a lacy blouse under a suit jacket, rocking Air Force 1 sneakers with a tailored look, or donning rhinestone pumps with fitted trousers.
“The point of this is that you want to look like you can afford the houses that you are showing,” she explained. “And, by the way, you don’t have to break the bank. All my blazers are from Zara. Ssshh. Don’t tell anyone. But seriously, all my blazers are from Zara. All my basics are from Zara and H&M and Aritzia. You don’t have to go spend a lot of money to look professional.”
