This Video of Slade Smiley Playing With Daughter Skylar Will Warm Your Heart
RHOC alum Gretchen Rossi shared the "sweet video" to make people smile during "this very scary time."
Skylar Slade is 8 months old! Real Housewives of Orange County alumni Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley celebrated their little girl growing up with the most adorable video of the tot playing with her dad.
“Skylar Gray turned 8 months on March 10th!!” Gretchen captioned a sweet clip of Slade playing with the babbling baby. “It’s just going by way too fast. But it’s moments like this that will be forever engrained in my heart.”
The new mom continued the post by opening up about the “scary time” the world is currently experiencing.
“We love this little girl soo very much and during this scary time in our world right now, nothing else matters than being able to love on these two,” said Gretchen. “I pray the angels above protect and surround all of us during this very scary time in our world...and hopefully this sweet video can bring a smile to your face today.”
It looks like Skylar absolutely loves to spend time with her dad. On March 4, Gretchen shared a series of photos of Slade and the smallest Smiley having a laugh. The 8-month-old and her father have an uncanny resemblance, especially when they’re both smiling! (And how cute is her little Tiffany-inspired “Skylar and Co.” onesie?)
Shortly after Skylar was born last July, Gretchen described the special bond between Skylar and Slade, who already was a father to two adult sons, Gavin and Grayson.
“I already knew what a wonderful father he was because of how he is with his boys, but I have fallen more and more in love with him again seeing how much of a devoted, loving father he is to his little girl,” Gretchen said. “Oh, and he helps change diapers and feeds her in the middle of the night so I can get sleep.”
