Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi Shares an Update on Her Life as a Single Mom
The Shahs of Sunset mama opens up about what it's like raising her little boy.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi's dreams to start a family came true when she welcomed her first child, son Elijah, in April of last year. Since then, the Shahs of Sunset cast member has shared more than a few precious glimpses of her baby boy, from his first-ever Christmas to his adorable smile.
Previously, GG has opened up about her difficult pregnancy journey, as well as the process of undergoing IVF and choosing a sperm donor, which she was candid about during an interview with The Daily Dish.
Recently, the Shahs of Sunset mom took to Instagram to reveal her thoughts on the challenges of being a single mom, along with sharing her experiences. GG wrote in the caption of her December 12 post, "I'd love to hear from y'all...Who out there is a single parent? Let me rephrase that...Who out there is holding it down for their child, working full time, paying all the bills and dealing with their own battles on the side?"
In addition to her heartwarming photo posing with Elijah, GG added in the post, "Nobody said it was gonna be easy, but Lord, I did not know it would consist of the most amazing love I've ever felt. Props to ALL of the hard working parents out there but it's a different vibe for us single parents."
Several Bravolebs took to the comments to chime in on GG's post. "Shoutout to you, the real superstar!" wrote The Real Housewives of Potomac's Askale Davis, while The Real Housewives of New York City's Eboni K. Williams added, "Love this Queen...literally inspiring." Shahs of Sunset alum Lilly Ghalichi offered words of encouragement, writing, "Keep it up, mama."
Last month, the doting mom posted the cutest photo of her little boy dressed in an adorable onesie while riding his scooter.
She also captured a sweet mother-son moment with Elijah wearing matching outfits, writing in the caption, "He completes me."
Previously, GG told PEOPLE how she felt about possibly raising a child solo, sharing that she wasn't necessarily focused on marriage. “If I’m lucky to meet someone who I vibe with and it works, that’s great, but I’m not interested in getting married in the future and don’t necessarily see myself with a forever life partner,” she said in the interview with PEOPLE. “My forever will be my child.”
