The word on the street is Gizelle Bryant’s daughter is making major strides! The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member’s eldest girl, Grace, is officially a high school graduate.
As Grace walked across the stage in her cap, gown, and fabulous white heels, her whole family was there to cheer her on. And that included her grandpa, Curtis Graves, and her dad, Jamal Bryant.
Gizelle Bryant Shares a Peek Inside Grace’s High School Graduation
In a June 5 Instagram post, Gizelle shared a video that captured highlights from Grace’s graduation week.
As the video begins, Grace smiles proudly in her white cap and gown. Later, the new graduate poses for photos with her mom and sisters Angel and Adore. Gizelle’s father, Curtis, a lauded civil rights activist, also appears in the pics.
After the graduation ceremony, Grace and her family had a well-deserved treat. A sweet photo shows the grad cutting into a giant orange-and-green cake. In the background, Gizelle’s ex, Jamal, stands by her side.
“And just like that she’s all grown up and on her way to take over the world,” Gizelle wrote in her caption. “A week of Graduation festivities… I’m so proud of my Amazing Grace!! Congratulations.”
Grace Bryant Is Headed to FAMU
What’s next for Grace? A whole lot of palm trees and business classes. The incoming college freshman is headed to Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where she plans to study business management.
Grace made her college decision back in April, but it seems the Tallahassee school was her top pick long before that. FAMU was the first university Grace toured with Gizelle in the fall of 2021!
In Grace’s graduation video, the cake she cut into sweetly nodded to her school of choice. It was frosted in FAMU’s signature hues and decorated with the university’s logo.
It looks like graduation week was as lit as a three-wick candle!
Where Does Gizelle Bryant Stand with Her Ex?
As RHOP viewers may remember, Gizelle and Jamal got back together in Season 5.
The pair parted ways in 2021 due to the pressures of long-distance dating. But Gizelle, who has recently been linked with Winter House’s Jason Cameron, remains friendly with her ex.
“Jamal and I are as best of friends as we’ve always been,” Gizelle said on Good Morning Washington in 2022.
