Gina Kirschenheiter's Husband Was Arrested in Orange County
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom later filed a protective order against her ex.
Gina Kirschenheiter has filed a protective order against her ex, The Blast reports.
The protective order was filed by Gina on Monday, June 24 in Orange County Superior Court, according to court documents obtained by The Blast. It names Gina's ex as the respondent and was made in her ongoing divorce case, according to the outlet.
The filing comes just a couple of days after The Real Housewives of Orange County husband was arrested on suspicions relating to domestic violence on Saturday, June 22, but he has yet to be officially charged, Us Weekly reports. He was released in the early morning of Sunday, June 23.
Gina filed for divorce from her husband in April 2018. However, things seemingly remained extremely amicable between Gina and her ex as they went through their divorce proceedings.
Gina often expressed how much love and respect she will always have for her ex even if they are no longer together. They could also often be seen enjoying fun-filled family days out with their three young children, Nicholas, Sienna, and Luca.
Gina shared some warm birthday wishes for her ex earlier this month. "Happy birthday to the man who has held my hand for the last 14 years despite the ups and downs. Thanks for being the best father to our kids, and the best friend a girl could ask for," she gushed in the post. "Wouldn’t want to take on this crazy life with anyone else. Like you said, 'I’m your person and you’re mine.'"
She also recently paid tribute to her husband on Instagram in a post in honor of Father's Day. In it, Gina thanked her ex "for being the best dad to our children."
We'll hear more about Gina and her husband's relationship in the upcoming Season 14 of RHOC.
