Naturally, the production team has gotten to know the cast very well over the years, especially the queen herself, Lisa Vanderpump. Now, they're giving the exclusive scoop on what it's really like filming with Lisa. 1. Lisa's Restaurants
On the show, we see Lisa bouncing between SUR, PUMP, Villa Blanca, and Tom Tom. Producers say that of all Lisa's restaurants, she makes the most surprise visits to PUMP.
2. Taking Care of Business
For the most part, Lisa runs all of her businesses separately. She doesn't usually gather all the managers of all her restaurants together for meetings. "She mostly deals with the staff of each restaurant independently," producers say.
3. Room for Compromise
Lisa prefers a specific ambiance inside her bustling businesses, but it doesn't exactly align with the production team's needs. According to producers, she wants her restaurants dark with loud music, which is difficult for filming. Production is in a constant negotiation with her about raising the light level and turning the music down.
4. Fans and Fawning
Just by watching the show, fans know that Lisa checks in on her businesses as often as she can. So, do people ever stop producers outside of Lisa's restaurants to ask if she's going to show up? "All the time," according to producers. Apparently, it happens a lot outside of Tom Tom. The fans just have to know these things.
5. Lisa's Table
When Lisa comes into SUR, she gravitates toward one location in particular. Producers say Table 16 is Lisa's usual spot at the restaurant, adding, "It's raised and sort of fenced off, so it's where she can get the most privacy."
6. When Men Meet Lisa
Do men ever try to flirt with Lisa when she's at SUR filming? Not quite. "Most people just freak out and beg for selfies," producers explain.
7. The Staff's Prep
When the staff knows that Lisa is coming in for a meal, it becomes a bit of a frenzy. Producers say they'll "argue over who takes her table and make sure English Breakfast tea is ready to go."
8. Flattery Is Rare
Lisa doesn't give compliments too often, apparently: "So when she does, they're extra special." Imagine being complimented by Lisa Vanderpump though. *Chills.*
