Eva Marcille Reveals if She’s Dating Again After Her Split from Michael Sterling
After filing for divorce in March 2023, Eva shared an update on her romantic life today.
During her time as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Seasons 11 and 12, Eva Marcille welcomed two sons and wed her longtime love, Michael Sterling (who also adopted her daughter from a previous relationship, Marley).
After Season 12 wrapped, Eva departed the series, and a lot has changed for the model/actress since then. In March 2023, Eva filed for divorce from her attorney husband after about four years of marriage.
During a radio interview in August 2023, Eva revealed whether she’s started dating again in the wake of her split.
Eva Marcille’s Dating Life Today
While appearing on The Big Tigger Morning Show for Atlanta’s V-103 radio station, Eva shared whether she’s gotten back out on the dating scene now that she’s “single again.”
“It is new, I’m almost a decade off the market, so it’s different, but my focus [is] my kids,” she said.
Though Eva didn’t offer many details about her dating life, she added, “My focus is on me and doing me, and I like a little sprinkle of gifts and things too.”
Eva Marcille’s Life Lately
As previously mentioned, Eva confirmed her split from Michael earlier this year.
“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” Eva told People in March about the separation. “Our children remain our biggest priority, and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Since then, Eva has been focused on her career and on her kids.
In late June, she offered an update on how her family has been doing following her split from Michael. “Today’s a good day, yeah, today’s a good day,” Eva said in a red carpet interview with ET. “Every day you gotta figure it out. Life lifes, but today’s a good day, and my kids are good.”
What’s more, on August 23, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2 alum revealed that her parents hit a serious milestone in their marriage.
“This weekend, my family celebrated my mother and father for 40 years of marriage,” she wrote on Instagram. “The village they have birthed and the love they have shown, has created a legacy for all of us to stand on. I could not be more proud to be my [parents’] daughter. Congratulations mommy and daddy for 40 amazing years.”
