Erin Lichy Gives Clue to Mystery RHONY Restaurant's Identity — and Reveals If She's Been Back
Erin Lichy also said on WWHL the drama between her and Brynn Whitfield will happen "over and over again" as RHONY Season 14 continues.
The drama continued after The Real Housewives of New York City’s Season 14 premiere with Housewife Erin Lichy spilling the tea on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
The RHONY Season 14 newcomer and New York City realtor — recently cited as the “sh-t-starter” of the group — sat alongside tea-spilling queen Kandi Burruss Tucker from The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the July 23 episode. Erin discussed everything a variety of topics, including RHONY cast’s trip to her Hamptons home and Ubah Hassan hilariously raiding a pantry for canned coconut milk.
But the real drama came during the WWHL After Show when virtual fans asked Erin about the restaurant drama between her and fellow RHONY cast members Brynn Whitfield and Sai de Silva.
Restaurant Drama on RHONY, Explained
ICYMI, during the RHONY Season 14 premiere, Erin planned for the group to meet at what she thought was a fitting New York City restaurant; its name bleeped out from the show (though online sleuths have made several entertaining assumptions of their own). However, Brynn and Sai ditched Erin for the members-only Casa Cipriani, later posting photos on Instagram.
“I didn’t know how to say that I wouldn’t be caught dead at [restaurant],” said Brynn. “And I’m not a D-list model.”

On the WWHL After Show, Erin was asked if she’d been back to the unnamed restaurant since the drama unfolded. She said she hadn’t but heard “rumblings” that the eatery was “going under.”
“I was like, ‘Hey, let me redesign it for you, and maybe you’ll have a comeback,’” said Erin, who also runs an interior design firm on top of selling real estate.
Unlike Brynn and Sai, Erin maintained that the restaurant was still “not that bad.”
“They were being elitist about it,” Cohen agreed.
Entertaining to Erin was that her grumbling and “catty” castmates don't even “go to the best places all the time.”
“I’ve seen it,” said Erin.
Are Erin Lichy and Brynn Whitfield Friends Today?
The drama between Erin and Brynn doesn’t end with the restaurant fiasco, as made evident in the RHONY scandal that will go down in history as “Cheese-Gate.” Cheese-Gate involved Brynn telling Sai and Jessel Taank that Erin took issue with Erin’s charcuterie board and called it “weird” — something Sai denied.
Erin also denied having beef (or cheese) with Sai, claiming Brynn was stirring the fondue pot.
On WWHL, one fan asked how Erin felt since Brynn said in a previous WWHL episode that Erin could not be trusted ever since the dairy-related drama.
“She felt like I was being disingenuous about the conversation, which I wasn’t,” said Erin.
Erin said the drama would “all play out” as RHONY Season 14 continues.
“We love each other, but we butt heads,” Erin said of her and Brynn’s friendship. “And it happens over and over again.”
Erin isn’t the only one who admits she and Brynn have a fluctuating friendship. During the red carpet premiere party, Brynn told The Daily Dish that she and Erin had a relationship that mirrored sibling rivalry.
“Erin and I, we’re like sisters,” said Brynn. “It ebbs and flows. We can’t stay mad at each other for long, but we definitely get mad at each other a lot.”

As for Brynn’s decision to ditch Erin for Casa Cipriani, she told The Daily Dish she stood by her decision.
If the RHONY First Look is any indication, tensions are high for Erin and Brynn. The two seem to discuss Jenna Lyons when Erin says, “Maybe I like her a little bit more,” to Brynn’s astonishment.
Erin also appears to accuse Brynn of flirting with a married man.
“Everyone likes to be mad at me,” said Brynn while doing a little dance.
There doesn’t appear to be a shortage of slack-jawed moments between Erin, Brynn, and the rest of the gang as The Real Housewives of New York City continues Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo and the next day on Peacock.
