Has the "Very Cool" Erika Jayne Forgiven Taye Diggs?

"When I met her, she was awesome," the actor said of his encounter with the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer on Lip Sync Battle.

Erika Jayne’s ‘How Many F**ks?’ Performance!

We're still not sure how we feel about Taye Diggs beating Erika Jayne during a recent episode of Lip Sync Battle. Then again, he feels us. As you might recall, the episode found both performers pitted against one another as each tried to sashay onto the stage and do their best Christina Aguilera impression. Both the actor and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer brought it to the competition, but it was Taye who went home the night's winner. And, yes, you can bet he's still a little upset he beat out the 90210 pop star.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

"I don't forgive [myself]. I thought she should have won, myself," he recently told The Daily Dish about the night in question — which found him done up in drag to perform Xtina's "Candyman." "I'm a huge [Erika] fan, so I was a little starstruck while performing. A lot of times they say, don't meet the people that kind [you're] fans of, but she was awesome. When I met her, she was awesome ... very cool."

The episode marked Taye's second appearance on the show. And, he had already caught our attention when he stopped by the LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen-hosted series back in 2017 and performed Madonna's "Vogue" ... that time in Madonna drag. (Um, we sense a theme...) "I give Lip Sync Battle some credit because they sometimes make the suggestions," he said, adding that they "just kind of let me do their thing," crediting the show's makeup and wardrobe crew for his incredible transformations. "It's one of the most fun shows I've ever been on; it makes it easy to say yes cause they're doing something not a lot of people are doing and they're doing it well. It gives performers like me a chance to kind of be silly, live certain fantasies [out] — it's an experience."

By the way, we can't help but think this about both Taye and Erika:
