Why Don't We See More of Erika Girardi's Life on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Erika Jayne Explains
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills songstress responds to fans who want to see more of her personal life on the show.
When we first met Erika Girardi back in Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we weren't just introduced to the newest 'Wife in the 90210; we also got to know her onstage alter ego Erika Jayne.
Fast-forward to Season 9 of RHOBH, and to some fans, it feels like we're getting to see less and less of Erika's home life as the wife of high-powered lawyer Tom Girardi with the focus mostly being on her nationwide tour, which you can see a clip of, above.
"Yeah, I don't think that [some viewers] quite understand that they are one," Erika said during a recent interview with ET. "My performance life, it is my life. That is my home life… That is my job."
In particular, fans are hoping to see more of Erika's husband on RHOBH. “Tom is a lawyer,” Erika told ET. “He has his own firm, he has his own clients and so, that is his first responsibility.”
RHOBH fans got to meet Erika's mom during a trip back home to Atlanta in Season 7 in which she opened up about her upbringing like never before. However, we've never seen one member of Erika's family, and we likely never will, according to the Beverly Hills Housewife.
When asked if we'll ever get the chance to meet her son Tommy on RHOBH on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in January, Erika said "I don't think so, no... you know, he has a private life; he's a police officer."
