Garcelle Beauvais Praises Erika Girardi’s Strength Filming RHOBH Season 11
Garcelle opened up about about her fellow RHOBH cast member during an appearance on WWHL.
Sharing your life with the world is never easy. And when The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 19, the praise for Erika Girardi was high. As fans have seen in the Season 11 teases so far, the RHOBH cast member will be opening up about her life like never before.
"I'm trying to think if I have another question about Erika to ask you guys. I mean, she's very vocal this season," Andy Cohen said during the May 19 episode of WWHL. "Garcelle, how surprised were you with everything that was coming out as you were shooting the season?"
Garcelle praised her fellow RHOBH cast member: "It was shocking. It was absolutely shocking. I mean, you don't wish this on your worst enemy. So to have Erika, going through all that and the fact that like Kyle [Richards] said, the fact that she showed up, I don't know if I would have showed up, honestly. The fact that she showed up, I think was really tremendous on her part."
In fact, Erika's Season 11 tagline highlights her strength: “The strongest substance on Earth isn’t diamonds. It’s me.”
During Wednesday's WWHL, RHOBH newcomer Crystal Kung Minkoff opened up about getting to know Erika this season. "You know, she has that reputation of being cold," Crystal explained. "And I found her to be super warm and welcoming."
In a recent RHOBH Season 11 moment first shared with Bravo Insider members, Erika opened up about her personal struggles in the last year during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Like all of us, I'm busy all of the time, and when I came home from New York, it was really silent. And then when I didn't have anything to do, I was walking the halls of the house, and I couldn't sleep," Erika opened up to her fellow Beverly Hills Housewives in the RHOBH Season 11 premiere exclusive to Bravo Insider. "And I couldn't shake it, and I couldn't shake it. I was feeling this incredible dread. Who am I if I'm not working? Every day, I woke up, and I dreaded waking up."
