Erika Girardi may seem rather reserved and somewhat mysterious when it comes to sharing the details of her life, but we're definitely learning a lot more about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills singer these days. First, thanks to the release of her dishy memoir, Pretty Mess, and, second, because of her upcoming sit-down with Tyler Henry on E!'s Hollywood Medium. And, yes, she shed a few tears when the medium connected with her late grandparents — mostly because they played such a crucial role in her life.
“So my grandparents, they helped raise me. They were kind of my parents," she says in the preview of next week's episode. “My mother was very young when she had me, and she was a single mom."
She continues in the clip, "So my grandparents stepped in and really helped her. We lived with them several times throughout my upbringing. My grandmother, her name was Ann, and my grandfather’s name was Hollis. Two born and raised, Southern, salt-of-the-earth people.”
