"I've always been the girl who soldiers on," Dorit Kemsley shared during Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills during a conversation with Erika Jayne, speaking about how she's been trying to move on from her traumatic home invasion back in 2021.
In addition to sharing on RHOBH how the incident affected her mental health, Dorit recently revealed during an exclusive interview with BravoTV.com that it affected how she's been expressing herself through fashion over the past couple of years. Keep reading to get all the details.

For the RHOBH Season 13 reunion, Dorit showed off her incredible style sense with a sophisticated Schiaparelli red gown with a hood-like detail and billowy sleeves.
In addition to the California mom wanting to choose "something fabulous" for the sit-down, she was channeling another feeling for the occasion. "The style [is] who I am, for sure, but pre-home invasion; more really having fun with fashion," Dorit revealed to BravoTV.com backstage while getting ready for the reunion.
She continued: "The last couple of years, I feel like I found myself feeling like I wanted to be covered up a lot, and I think it mirrored what was happening inside of me; the vulnerability, and the fear, and a lot of the things that are associated with some of the feelings that I've had. I had some [fashion] moments, but I wasn't taking too many risks."

In addition to her backstage details, Dorit also noted to us that she was going for a "fashion-forward" and "monochromatic" look that conveyed a "surrealist" vibe. To achieve that idea, Dorit paired her stunning sheath with red platform Balmain heels, Bottega Veneta jewelry, and thanked Steven Tabimba for her glam and Justine Marjan for her sleek hair look.
