Do Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz Think Lisa Vanderpump Is "Manipulative"?
The #PumpRules stars say the #RHOBH restaurateur "has a way with words."
Lisa Vanderpump has been called out for being "manipulative" this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she's taken some heat from her castmates along the way. Luckily, Lisa may be able to count on her SURvers to back her up, such as Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney, who tweeted some sweet messages in defense of Lisa earlier this month.
So when The Daily Dish ran into Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor and Tom Schwartz at the Below Deck Mediterranean premiere party on Wednesday night, we had to get their take on the situation. "To me, it's surprising because usually, the way I see Lisa is cool, calm, collected, the voice of reason. And to hear [her] in the trenches, it's a surprise for me," Tom said of the criticism Lisa is getting this season of RHOBH.
Jax said he doesn't keep up with RHOBH, but he thinks the cast's drama isn't the same as what the Vanderpump Rules crew goes through. "It's different in the world she lives in with the Housewives," he told The Daily Dish. "I don't understand that world, the things they argue and fight about."
Tom agreed. "They're worse than us, by the way. They fight more than us," he said.
But do they think the SUR boss can be "manipulative," as some of the ladies of the 90210 have claimed this season? "I don't know anything about manipulative people at all," Jax joked before saying, "Like I said, I don't really watch [RHOBH] that much, so I'm kind of clueless on it, but I don't really see that happening."
Tom seconded that, but he admitted that Lisa does has the gift of the gab. "I've never really seen her be manipulative, but I will say she has a way with words. She can win you over very easily with her words," he explained before starting to gush about Lisa. "[She's] very convincing. She's persuasive. And incredibly charming. Don't get me started on Lisa."
