Destiney Rose Claps Back at Ali Ashouri Calling Her a "Scared and Weak Person"
Destiney Rose didn't hold back her current feelings about the Shahs of Sunset pal on WWHL.
Ali Ashouri, who has found himself at the center of the drama between Reza Farahan and Mercedes "MJ" Javid this season of Shahs of Sunset, had some strong words for Destiney Rose during a recent interview.
You see, Destiney was friends with Ali at the beginning of this season of Shahs of Sunset. In fact, he was the one who told her the gossip about Reza's husband, Adam Neely. After telling Reza about the rumors at his housewarming party and organizing what turned out to be a disastrous meeting between him and Ali, Destiney apologized to Reza for her part in all this and has stood by her longtime pal ever since.
So when Ali said spoke to TooFab in March, he said that he was "disappointed" in Destiney for turning her back on him in order to maintain her friendship with Reza. He also called Destiney a "scared and weak person" that will do whatever it takes to save "her relationship with Reza."
Destiney responded to Ali's comments during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on April 10 (clip above). "When obviously things don't go someone's way, they're gonna say a lot of things that is out of their booty hole," Destiney told Andy Cohen via video chat. "And that's what I'm sticking to."
Destiney previously confirmed during a separate interview with TooFab that she and Ali have not been on speaking terms out of respect for her friendship with Reza. "I am a very strong independent woman and I don't like anyone telling me what to do, how to dress, where to go, who I should be with, who I shouldn't be with, no," Destiney told the publication in March. "And when he said that to me, it bothered me, I'm human. But I also realized ... you need to be careful of your surroundings. I want to believe in people, I want to believe people actually care, but unfortunately, we put ourselves in situations that could harm us. In this case, he was right, I need to wake up and realize who I had around me."
