Margaret Josephs And Dolores Catania Take on an Unusual Hobby Together: See Video
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members Margaret Josephs and Dolores Catania laced up their dancing shoes for a private lesson with Dancing Queen besties Donie Burch and Leonie Biggs.
What do you get when you put two Dancing Queens together with two Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members? A whole lot of fun.
Housewives Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs recently dropped in on Dancing Queens besties Donie Burch and Leonie Biggs for “one epic dance lesson” that had the women amping up the drama and laughter as they mastered the Pasodoble.
It was a warm welcome for Donie and Leonie into the Bravo universe as their new show — which follows six everyday women as they strive to reach their glittery dreams on the dance floor with professional partners — launches this month.
“I met Leonie prior to today. I think she’s just so wonderful and beautiful,” Dolores said.
Margaret was quick to add she thought the pair were “going to fit in perfectly” with their fellow Bravolebrities.
With the greetings and hugs accomplished, the women got to work on the lesson.
“We’re doing pasodoble. This is a fight. We still need to be seductive, we need to be provocative and then we f-ck him off at the end,” Leonie explained before stopping to ask, “Am I allowed to swear?”
After she was hilariously encouraged “not to use the f-word,” Leonie described the complex dichotomy at play in the theatrical Latin ballroom dance.
“We want to provoke him, but then we also want to kill him,” she said.
“Wow,” Margaret said.
“It’s like the story of my life,” Dolores chimed in.

It didn’t take long for Margaret and Dolores to nail down the steps, along with the necessary drama — including a well-timed shove of their dance partner — required in the heated dance.
“Pushing Victor just felt like I was pushing someone in the pool, just came so naturally,” Margaret said with a laugh, in a not-so-subtle nod to the time when she shoved Danielle Staubb’s ex into the pool on RHONJ.
Dolores found the shove a little more difficult, calling it “really hard” to get into character, but it didn’t stop her from relishing her time on the dance floor.
“Dancing is so liberating. I actually felt like I had an anger release and I had an emotional release. It’s something I think I’m going to make a practice in my life,” she said.
After their performance, the Housewives received high praise from the dancers.
“I think the Real Housewives handled the pasodoble so well. Both looked like kind of telenovela soap opera stars,” Donie said. “They really got the pushing the man down. I really think this is something that they could put in their repertoire.”
Both 'Wives agreed there could be more dancing in their future.
“I would definitely try ballroom dancing again. I absolutely loved it,” Margaret said.
And because one good turn deserves another, the 'Wives were happy to share their “Jersey moves” including the sprinkler, fist pump, and booty bump with Donie and Leonie.
By the end of the lesson, it was clear the women were able to find plenty of common ground to keep them all having fun.
“The Dancing Queens are similar to the Real Housewives because we’re all just normal ladies living our lives,” Donie said.
