Andy Cohen Had the Sweetest Response to Cynthia Bailey Leaving RHOA
Cynthia also felt the love from Mike Hill and other Bravolebs following the announcement she's exiting RHOA.
On Monday (September 27), Cynthia Bailey confirmed her exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta after 11 seasons on the show. She shared the news in an emotional Instagram post that thanked those who followed her on her journey.
"After much thought and consideration, I have made the very difficult and heartfelt decision not to return for the next season of [The] Real Housewives of Atlanta," her statement read, in part. She also added, "I am so grateful to have had this amazing journey, and I am anxiously waiting to embark on new adventures."
Her news was met with a lot of reactions from those in the Bravo family, including Andy Cohen. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host joked, "But…. DO YOU KNOW ME????" That comment is a nod to an ongoing joke he has with Cynthia.
"Yes Andy, I can definitely say that 'I know you now' lol!" she responded to his comment this week. "Unforgettable memories."
Cynthia's family, including daughter Noelle Robinson and sister Mal Bailey also posted comments, as well as Cynthia's husband of nearly a year, Mike Hill.
"I’m so happy for you [and] excited for what’s to come in your future, baby!! I’m TELLING you the BEST YEARS OF YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIFE are in front of you. You were a huge brand before RHOA [and] even though it helped put a spotlight on that brand, your name is only going to grow from here. Congratulations on 11 memorable years and for never compromising, keeping your classy 'brand' in tact. You conquered that!!" Mike wrote in the comments section of Cynthia's Instagram post. "Now WHAT ELSE IS GOING ON?? Let’s find out. Let’s build that dynasty. I’m beside you no matter what and ALWAYS!!"
They weren't the only ones with feelings about Cynthia's news. Gizelle Bryant, Shamari DeVoe, Karen Huger, Robyn Dixon, Leah McSweeney, Lisa Rinna, Stephanie Hollman, Melissa Gorga, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Kathy Wakile, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Gretchen Rossi, Margaret Josephs, Marlo Hampton, Mia Thornton, Claudia Jordan, Dorinda Medley, and more were among the Bravolebs who commented on Cynthia's post with messages of love and support.
