Brielle Biermann Shares Where Her Relationship with Slade Osborne Stands Today

Fans got a blast from the past in the most recent episode of Don’t Be Tardy as Brielle Biermann reconnected with her ex-boyfriend Slade Osborne (clip above). Though it seemed just like old times when Brielle and Slade caught up over lunch in the episode, Brielle shared with The Daily Dish in February that it actually took her some time to let her ex back into her life following their breakup in 2015. "Slade and I had a really rough breakup. We definitely didn't talk from the time we broke up until my birthday, which was about eight months later. He texted me 'Happy birthday,' and we kind of just started chatting since then,” she explained. “And that was three or four years ago now. It was a really long time ago. And we've always kind of kept in contact.” 

Brielle said that when she let Slade back into her life, she knew there was a chance they could get back together — and they ultimately did. The two were even spotted looking pretty cozy in Miami together back in October. “I knew he wanted to get back with me. Like, I knew that if the opportunity was there he'd probably consider it. And I would too, because he was my first love and the only person I've ever really loved. So I was definitely open to that idea and entertained it,” she shared. “But we just started out as friends and worked our way into a relationship again.”

However, this rekindled relationship didn’t last. Brielle confirmed that she is currently single. “Not that we ended on bad terms; we ended on great terms. He's still a part of my life, and we're like best friends,” Brielle noted. “But he's almost 25 and I'm 22, so we're like on different, he wants to get married, he wants a wife, and I'm young. I want to live my life."

Brielle said she is currently dating, but she’s not looking to get into anything serious these days. She broke up with boyfriend Michael Kopech last year after about two years together. "I'm not really looking for a relationship because I've been in relationships for years. I really haven't been single since I was like 12 or whenever you start dating, 14, so I would like some time for me. I feel like I get so trapped in relationships that I don't focus on me and my goals and what I want to do because I'm so focused on the other person. And so I'd kind of like to get my life together,” she said. “And if a relationship comes, it comes, but I'm definitely not looking. I am dating. I'm seeing a few people, like just talking and hanging out, nothing too serious or crazy, and it's just fun."

And if Brielle and Slade are still single in a few years, who knows what could happen? "Maybe Slade and I could get back together in 5 or 10 years, but I have a feeling he's probably not going to be waiting around. He's such a great guy. He'd be the perfect husband to anybody. He definitely wants to have a family and stay in Milton for the rest of his life, and that's just totally on a different vibe than I'm on,” Brielle said when asked if she could ever see herself and Slade getting back together again. “I want to experience the world and live my life."
