This Is How Bethenny Frankel Feels About Her Engagement to Paul Bernon
The RHONY alum shared some potential details about her future wedding.
One week after she made headlines for her engagement to Paul Bernon, Bethenny Frankel is opening up about the exciting next chapter and confirming the big news. The Real Housewives of New York City alum told Extra exactly how she's feeling post engagement: "I’m very excited, and it’s really wonderful.”
However, it does seem like her wedding plans are still up in the air. As for where she plans to marry Paul, she is considering a wedding in New York City but noted that “I’m not sure I mean, I love New York. I’m not sure.”
She also touched on her wedding in her podcast Just B with Bethenny Frankel, which she shared on Instagram Stories on Tuesday (March 30), calling the idea of a wedding registry "awkward."
The RHONY alum and and Paul's road to happily ever after wasn't always smooth. Bethenny reconnected with her now-fiancé Paul in January 2021 when they were spotted together months after they had reportedly split up in October. They originally began dating in 2018. In February of this year, Bethenny spoke to Andy Cohen on her podcast about her life with Paul.
“Paul has a small social following because he’s produced some movies, but he doesn’t post at all,” Bethenny explained. “Like, he’ll post a picture of a sunset once every six months. I have never been in a relationship with someone who had social media, which I love, by the way. I wouldn’t be into some guy taking pictures of himself and filtering himself and showing how great his fake life was.”
It was first reported last week that following her divorce from Jason Hoppy being finally finalized back in January, Bethenny and Paul were engaged after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring. Bethenny and her ex are are parents to a 10-year-old daughter, Bryn.
