Captain Glenn Shephard Has a Shocking Reaction to Gary King and Daisy Kelliher Making Out
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht boss raises some eyebrows with his response to the buzzy moment on WWHL.
We all know that Gary King loves the ladies and vice versa. Still, we're pretty sure no one had the first mate making out with Daisy Kelliher in a hot tub on their bingo card for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3, given all the conflict that has transpired between the yachties in the past.
So that happened earlier this season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and we're all still picking our jaws up off the floor after witnessing that moment. However, Captain Glenn Shephard, who has worked with Gary and Daisy for two seasons now, had a completely unexpected reaction to the makeout session when he appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on April 25.
The Parsifal III boss shared his reaction to seeing everything that went down among the crew while he was, most likely, in bed with his headphones on, including Daisy and Gary locking lips. And though Daisy and Gary may not be the most obvious couple to many, Captain Glenn said that he does feel the chemistry between the yachties. "There's definitely something between those guys," he said in the above clip.
But Colin MacRae would beg to differ, telling Bravo Insider in an exclusive interview earlier this season that he didn't think there was a "genuine romance there." "I know them both quite well, but that’s not to say that they couldn’t have sort of a fling or something," he said. "I think they’re too different to have a long-term relationship, and that’s just my opinion. I could be completely wrong about that."
When Daisy and Gary appeared virtually on WWHL together in March, the first mate admitted that he has had a crush on the chief stew "from day one." But following some photos of the pair hanging out together in Los Angeles in February, Daisy set the record straight that they are "not dating."
Gary also confirmed that they had "met up in Disneyland," and it was just "as friends." "Daisy's friendzoned me, unfortunately," he said.
