You Might Be Surprised to See Where Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder Stand Today
Captain Sandy Yawn reacted to the latest development in Natalya and Kyle's relationship.
After developing both a tight-knit professional relationship and friendship on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7, Natalya Scudder and her "twin flame," Kyle Viljoen, hit some choppy water on Season 8.
When Natalya decided to leave motor yacht Mustique early, she said that her friendship with the second stew was "done... 100 percent."
Though it seemed like Natalya and Kyle would not be moving forward as friends, the latter cast member just shared a shocking update on their relationship today.
Are Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder Still Friends?
The South Africa native took to Instagram on November 28 to share that he is back on track in his friendship with Natalya. Kyle posted a series of three selfies on his Instagram feed, and he revealed how the two repaired their relationship in the caption of the post.
"It has been a year in the making[,] but time heals most wounds however, we’re just glad to being back as friends again," he wrote. "We both realized we were going through the thick of it at the time the season started a year ago, especially within our personal lives but were so glad that we have each other to rely on, now more than ever."
Kyle went on to note that he is "hopeful" that the two have turned over a new leaf in their friendship.
"We’re happy to be back together and hopeful that the positive, crazy, and outrageously great times are ahead," he continued. "An early kickstart to the new year with new memories! Thank you for being through it all with us and [for] the caring messages. So much love to you!"
He signed the caption, "Nat & Kyle."
Natalya Scudder Responds to Kyle Viljoen's Friendship Post
In addition to signing off on Kyle's post, Natalya shared a message of support to the New York City resident in the comments section.
"Life is way too short for bad vibes!" she wrote. "Truly so happy that we are entering the new year with a clean slate. We’ve definitely experienced so many ups and downs but it’s all the ups that I will continue to hold close to my heart. The sun always shines after a storm."
Their Below Deck Mediterranean boss, Captain Sandy Yawn, also reacted to the post.
"Love this and love you both," she commented.
