Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo Scalia Praise Ashlee Holmes' Parenting Skills

It's been a week since Ashlee Holmes welcomed her son into the world. And in the last seven days, little Cameron Hendrix Malleo has been getting a lot of love from his extended family, including Caroline Manzo and Lauren Manzo Scalia, who met the tot just this week.

"[He's] so cute, we met him yesterday. [They're doing] amazing," Caroline told The Daily Dish. "They're over the moon. They're super attentive. Ashlee is just a pleasure to watch. A pleasure when you think back to that 15-year-old kid and you look at this woman really embracing being a mom, it makes your heart happy. And [her fiance] Pete [Malleo]'s an awesome guy. He's great with the baby, too. It's a very exciting time for them, so I'm very very happy for them all."

Her cousin, Lauren, is also giving a gold-star review to the new The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom. "She's a great mom. She's very, very on the baby. You can tell, even when we're holding her, she's like standing over him. She's like standing over our shoulder," the Manzo'd with Children daughter said. "You know, she loves him so much. [Her mom] Jacqueline [Laurita] is like hugging and kissing him constantly. Oh my God, they love him so much... Jacqueline and Ashlee, I have never seen two people more obsessed with a baby. They love him so much; it's really sweet."
