Ashlee Holmes and New Hubby Pete Malleo Are Already Living the Good (Married) Life

Just days after eloping, Ashlee Holmes and Pete Malleo are already enjoying the good life as newlyweds. The recently-married couple stepped out in honor of love once again when they were photographed at a wedding in Virginia for some close friends. And we have to say that were simply glowing having just walked down the aisle themselves.

And, Ashlee's (who stunned in a crimson dress) heartfelt tribute to her friends was also totally swoonworthy as she was probably still euphoric from her own nuptials. She wrote, "This past weekend, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in two of my closest friends’ wedding. It was honestly the most magical, beautiful, fun wedding that I’ve ever been a part of. Where to begin? I truly believe that Matt and Eva are soulmates. Their love is just so special. The sweetest part of this weekend was being able to see their love on display in such a pure way. From their vows, to the speeches, to listening to their families and friends talk about how amazing their love is and how their genuine souls have impacted their lives was just so heartwarming. I think my favorite part was at one point, I just caught Matt and Eva in the corner observing everyone they managed to bring together from all over the country, and you could just see their gratitude and happiness."

Ashlee continued, "It was so cute. There was lots of dancing, lots of laughter, lots of alcohol, and most definitely lots of love. What more could you ask for? I am so grateful that I got to be a part of this. I love you both so very much. Thank you for sharing your special day with us! Here’s to many many many years together!"

Ashlee and Pete, who are parents to 2-year-old Cameron Hendrix Malleo, married at City Hall in Manhattan last week. As for why the couple decided to skip a lavish wedding, she explained, "We weighed our pros and cons and decided that we would rather just save the money and put it towards our future together. I figured if City Hall was good enough for Carrie Bradshaw and Big that we could make it work. I wanted simple and affordable. Nothing fancy, just love."
