Ariana Madix Reveals Which Other SURver Was Ready to Spill the Tea About Robert Valletta's Rumored Makeout

No season of Vanderpump Rules is complete without a few cheating scandals and rumors, but Season 6 really takes the cake. But how do the SURvers decide it's the right time to reveal what they know about a two-timing significant other? While there may never be a perfect time to tell someone you saw their boyfriend kissing someone else, sometimes there are good intentions behind dropping that kind of news. Take, for instance, Kristen Doute sharing what she heard about Scheana Shay's now ex-boyfriend, Robert Valletta, kissing another girl. Ariana Madix, a woman who has had to be the bearer of bad news more than once in her life, would argue that Kristen may not have had Scheana's best interest at heart when she spilled the beans. However, Miss Madix told Bravo's The Daily Dish podcast that even if her motivations weren't great, Kristen potentially saved Scheana from a much more embarrassing, hurtful, and public delivery from someone else. 

"I think what ends up happening is that sometimes the motivation of the messenger is sketch and if the motivation is malicious, then by all means, I can understand why people would be mad at them," Ariana said. "I just feel like if someone has a piece of information and they just like are mad at you, so they say something, that's kind of f---ed up."

Ariana admitted she's skeptical of Kristen's intentions behind spilling the beans about Rob supposedly kissing another woman at Toca Madera. "But even sometimes, I've seen people on this show say that they care and they want to help and they're full of sh--."

She went on to reveal, "However, there was someone else who was going to bring it up at the party."

And who was this mystery secret keeper who had been waiting in the wings, ready to make matters worse? Ariana revealed Jax Taylor was ready to confront Scheana with the news at his housewarming party, because "Jax is very ... anti-every person who he thinks might take some of the heat off of him in this moment," Ariana dished. "I think Jax was going to blurt this out in front of everybody at the party." 

Since Kristen had already brought the rumor to light, it took the wind out of Jax's sails. "I do think that was, like, a really good way of defusing that bomb," Ariana said. "That was the one thing about [the way Kristen shared the news] that was like, 'Well, at least it wasn't that bad!'"
