There’s Been a New Development in Kyle Richards and Bethenny Frankel’s Years-Long Instagram Drama
The RHONY alum revealed an update on the social media issue between herself and the RHOBH cast member.
The Real Housewives of New York City’s Bethenny Frankel didn’t just post a sweet homage to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Kyle Richards for her birthday this week, she also gave her the ultimate gift: She’s following her again on Instagram.
For those who haven’t been keeping track of this social media–related drama, at some point, Kyle and Bethenny unfollowed each other on Instagram. They have each discussed the matter during separate Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse appearances. (You can read the recap here.)
Well, as it turns out, Bethenny has officially started following Kyle on Instagram again, as she confirmed in her birthday post to Kyle: “I’m following you now so I guess I don’t need to text you…”
That birthday post didn’t just include an update on their relationship — it also included Bethenny taking a trip down memory lane (as she did in the throwback interview with The Daily Dish at the top of this post), writing, “To think that I’ve known you more than 25 years is beautiful [and] nauseating at the same time. [Farrah] was FOUR years old [and] laughed at us even then!!! You have always had a positive spirit and you love to have fun. It took me decades to understand your purchasing [$18 Lancôme] eye makeup remover, the product responsible for our friendship.”
She continued, “I hope you’re more patient about your birthday gift than I was when you watched me hide under a store display, when I got caught trying to find out what my boyfriend [and] your ex had gotten me as a gift (only to have him walk in while hiding in a toy store). Looking for these photos reminded me of causing a FULL SCENE at Mobil Mart with you, [Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton] (at Bryn’s age) after going to Rampage, ice skating [and] the pet store ferret shopping for Paris. So many memories… it goes too quickly. Enjoy it! Happy Birthday! May it be filled with love, laughter and family.”
