What Does Cynthia Bailey Think of Apollo Nida's Reported Engagement?
Let's just say this won't be the last you hear of it on #RHOA.
Last week, it was revealed that Phaedra Parks' ex-husband Apollo Nida got engaged while serving his eight-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft, according to his Instagram profile. And it looks like the news has spread to Atlanta. "I don't know if that's 100 percent confirmed yet, but I did hear about it," Phaedra's Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Cynthia Bailey said on Watch What Happens Live Sunday night.
Though Cynthia told a WWHL caller that she has not talked to Phaedra about the rumor yet, she admitted that the subject did come up while filming this season of RHOA. And putting on his hat as executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, Andy Cohen confirmed that. "There is some noise in that direction on this season and just stay tuned," he teased on WWHL. "You actually won't believe what happens. That's all I can say."
After announcing her plans to split with Apollo in October 2014, Phaedra confirmed that her divorce has been finalized during an appearance on TMZ's Raq Rants earlier this month. Apollo announced his engagement via Instagram about two weeks later. The couple has two children together, 6-year-old Ayden and 3-year-old Dylan.
In next Sunday night's new episode of RHOA, Phaedra will turn her attention to the children affected by the Flint water crisis. Check out a sneak peek, below.
