Andy Cohen on Teresa Giudice: "She Has Definitely Not Lost Her Sense of Humor"
The #WWHL host shares an update on his communication with #RHONJ's Skinny Italian since she's been serving her sentence.
We knew that Andy Cohen has been in touch with Teresa Giudice since she’s been serving her 15-month prison sentence for bank, mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud. And now the Watch What Happens Live host is opening up a little more about how Teresa’s spirits have been.
"She seems like she is okay,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “She definitely has not lost her sense of humor which I really admire. She’s really funny in her emails.”
But communicating with the Real Housewives of New Jersey mom isn’t easy. “There’s a special prison [email] system. She has to request you,” he said. “You get a request saying, ‘There is a prisoner requesting that you join up to this system.’ Then you have to fill out all this stuff, your social security, all this information. Then you get approved by the system and then once you’re approved you have to log on and then you can email this person.”
Sister-in-law Melissa Gorga recently revealed that she hasn’t seen Teresa in person just yet, but much of her family makes frequent stops at the Danbury, Conn. facility. And Andy admits he wouldn’t mind joining them at some point. “I would be happy to go see her,” he revealed.
Teresa has roughly four months left in her sentence. Prior to reporting to prison, Teresa and Joe sat down for a very emotional discussion with Andy. Watch highlights below.
