So, Anderson Cooper’s Big Baby News Interrupted the Vanderpump Rules Reunion...
Andy Cohen opened up about how he wanted to make sure he was there for his pal.
When Anderson Cooper shared the big news with the world that he's a dad to a newborn son, Wyatt, his longtime BFF, Andy Cohen, was smack dab in the middle of filming the Vanderpump Rules Season 8 reunion virtually.
But the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host also didn't want to miss the exciting moment for his friend. "Hilariously, Anderson had said he was announcing Wyatt's birth at the end of his show and he said it was gonna be around the end of the 8 o'clock hour. And we were shooting the reunion and we were just winding it up... and I was texting the executive producer Doug Ross," Andy said on his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live about wanting to make sure he could be there for his pal and catch his news program.
In fact, Andy had to skip out on filming pick-ups to catch the big announcement from his BFF. "I just felt like such a moron. I'm like, what does [Doug] think that I mean, 'I have to go watch something on TV.' Like, that something's more important to watch on TV than doing this reunion?" the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host recalled.
Regardless of Andy's time and heart being divided during the taping, he was quick to note how awesome it turned out. "It was a great reunion," Andy teased on his radio show this week. "It was really good."
