Amanda Batula Defends Her "Skincare Journey": "Let's Not Judge One Another, OK?"
The Summer House beauty also shared her go-to treatments for acne and under-eye puffiness.
Amanda Batula is on a "skincare journey," and she's bringing us along for the ride.
Recently, the Summer House cast member responded to social media users via her Instagram Stories regarding a few issues around her skincare products and practices.
Amanda Batula opens up about her "skincare journey"
On March 19, Amanda recorded a video of herself to explain her usage of under-eye patches after she received messages she was wearing them "the wrong way."
"I was told that you wear them like this for dark circles and puffy eyes," Amanda stated as she put the patch under her right eye with the curve of the patch situating under the corner of her eye. She then switched it to having the round edge of the patch toward her left eye's corner, noting it was "like this" for "wrinkles and crow's feet."
"That theory makes sense to me, so that's what I'm going with," Amanda quipped. "Plus, the skin under our eyes is so thin and absorbent I really don't think it matters what way you wear them so ... whatever way your heart desires is the right way to wear eye patches. Let's not judge one another, OK?"

Amanda continued her video by recommending one of her go-to products. "While we're on this skincare journey, I was going to share with you the de-puffing mask I was using this morning," Amanda began, then noting the one she has wasn't available, but guided her followers to look for a "de-puffing mask" by skincare brand Clarins.
In the last video she decided to share, Amanda said she was getting "a lot of questions" about the "pimple cream" she wore on an episode of Summer House.
Amanda then showed off Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($18) and Kate Sommerville EradiKate 10% Sulfur Acne Treatment ($28), two brands used for acne treatment. Amanda was sure to note she uses the brands separately and told her followers to "consult your dermatologist."
Elsewhere in her Stories, Amanda shared more skincare details as she was on her way to do some work for Summer House.
"When you're extremely puffy and exhausted and have Summer House green screen," Amanda wrote over a snapshot of herself with under-eye patches and cream on the bottom half of her face.
"(I also took a nap and slept through my first call time. I'm mortified)," Amanda joked. Her skincare, however, was on point!
