Alexis, Tamra, and Shannon Share New Details & Receipts on the Lawsuit Drama (EXCLUSIVE)
RHOC's Alexis Bellino, Tamra Judge, and Shannon Storms Beador shed new light on their past and present legal issues.
As multiple lawsuits are being discussed on Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Shannon Storms Beador, Alexis Bellino, and Tamra Judge are shedding new light on their past and present legal drama.
In the video above, the 'Wives stopped by Bravo HQ to break down their perspectives on the ongoing issues between them.
Alexis opened up about her connection to the two lawsuits in question — one filed by her ex-husband against Shannon and Tamra in 2018 and a more recent one her fiancé, John Janssen, filed against Shannon — stating, "Anyone that would say, 'It's odd that Alexis has been around two men that have sued Shannon,' I would say, 'Yeah, it's kind of crazy.'"
She added, "I have nothing to do with either [lawsuit]."
What was Shannon Storms Beador and Tamra Judge's past lawsuit drama with Alexis Bellino's ex-husband?
As the women explained in the video above, Alexis' ex-husband filed a defamation lawsuit against Shannon and Tamra in 2018.
"I lost $300,000 defending myself, and I didn't do anything wrong," Shannon said. "I won the case and the appeal."
On the Season 18 premiere of RHOC, Tamra claimed she lost $500,000 from the lawsuit.
Although Alexis claimed she had no involvement in either lawsuit, Shannon had a different perspective on the 2018 drama.
"I really have zero interest in becoming friends with the woman who started the ball rolling on the defamation lawsuit that I had against her ex-husband," Shannon said, adding that Alexis "denied that she wrote a [cease and desist] letter" pertaining to the case.
The clip above then flashed to a text message Alexis allegedly sent to Shannon at the time, in which she wrote, "We have engaged an attorney and will be suing you and Tamra," and later added, "You will be hearing from our attorney." That message, Shannon said, was further proof that Alexis was part of the lawsuit.
With that in mind, Alexis explained, "This is where Shannon thinks I was involved: I sent the text to Shannon and Tamra for my ex-husband at the time. He called me very upset. Someone gave me [Shannon's] cell phone [number], so I texted her and Tamra and I said, you know, 'Please just shut your mouth and this will be happening. Our attorney will be contacting you.'"
"My ex calls me and he's super upset, and he's just like, 'Will you send them a text and just tell them that my attorney's gonna reach out? And just let them know?'" she continued. "I said, 'I want nothing to do with this. I don't agree with it...He asked me to send some more texts or something. I'm like, 'I'm out. I'm not a part of this.'"
Tamra agreed with Alexis' point of view, stating, "Alexis really wasn't involved in [the lawsuit]. It was her ex-husband that filed it. Her name was not on it. There was nothing."
Alexis emphasized that point, declaring, "There's no court document that you will ever find my name on."
However, Shannon disagreed.
"Alexis denies that she was involved at all, but she did send a cease-and-desist type letter to me," she said. "And I have it. So you did."
What is John Janssen's lawsuit against Shannon Storms Beador?
As discussed throughout Season 18 of RHOC, John is suing Shannon over money he allegedly gave her for a facelift when they were in a relationship.
According to PEOPLE, John filed a lawsuit against Shannon in March 2024 for breach of oral contract and promissory fraud, among other matters, claiming she owes him $75,000.
Shannon issued a statement to the outlet at the time, declaring she was "Shocked and disappointed."
"My attorney has been in constant communication with his counsel. I agreed to pay John what he wanted because I knew that attorneys fees would surpass the amount sought, but more importantly to eliminate the negative emotional components that come with a lawsuit," she said. "It is important that I continue to focus on the positive aspects of my life and move forward. John declined the offer because he refused to sign a mutual non-disparagement agreement. I was hoping that if I met his baseless demand we could at least use this as an opportunity to bring complete closure to this chapter in my life."
In the video above, Alexis weighed in on the matter, sharing, "I hate to say it but I did tell [John] to settle when she offered $45,000..He's like, 'That's not enough. She owes me 75 [thousand dollars].'"
"I don't blame him that he's like, 'Just pay me what you owe me,'" she added. "And that's it, that's all he wants. It's all he ever wanted."
