Mya Allen Says One Small Thing Is “Still a Problem” in Her Relationship with Oliver
The baker joked that a certain food-related issue from the Summer House couple’s first date hasn’t exactly been resolved.
On the March 29 episode of Summer House, newcomer Mya Allen went on a first date with Danielle Olivera's friend Oliver Gray. Although Mya rated the experience a "10 out of 10," there was one important thing she and Oliver disagreed on.
"I have a problem overall with white condiments," Oliver said, giving mayonnaise, blue cheese dressing, sour cream, and ranch dressing as examples. The Knead owner was floored. "Whoa, you don't like sour cream?" she asked. "Blue cheese and ranch, fine. Sour cream I would bathe in."
Although Mya joked, "That's gonna be an issue moving forward," she shared her mostly positive feelings about the date in an episode interview. "Can we even eat together? Because it doesn't seem like we can. But overall, I feel like there's some sort of potential," she said. "I'm excited. Like, I'm a little bit giddy."
Now, several months later, their romance seems to be going strong, but the condiment issue remains unresolved. During Mya's April 27 "Ask Me Anything" on Instagram, someone inquired, "Is Oliver's hate for sour cream still a thing?" and she jokingly replied, "Yes and it's still a problem."
Mya also shared some of her own strong food (and drink) takes during the AMA. She revealed that her go-to alcoholic beverage is a tequila soda with lime, her favorite cookie is "salted oatmeal milk chocolate," and her favorite meal to cook for others is pasta.
