Kyle Cooke Admits Amanda Batula Wasn't Thrilled with His Latest Living Room Purchase
The Summer House couple unveiled the massive addition to their home entertainment center.
Kyle Cooke doesn’t mess around when it comes to home entertainment.
On Wednesday, October 25, the Winter House cast member returned to Instagram to reveal the latest addition to his and Amanda Batula’s New York City apartment. Kyle shared a video of him with a big ol' smile as he stood beside a massive TV that was still unboxed. Although the Summer House OG was clearly excited about the purchase, he admitted that his wife wasn’t too thrilled with the size of the set, which was considerably larger than their previous one.

“Much to Amanda’s dismay, we went big,” Kyle said in the Instagram Story. “So our old TV, the backlight blew. It was a 75-inch.”
“I blew it,” Amanda interjected.
“And we’ve upgraded to a TCL, 85-inch,” Kyle continued, “because you can’t go wrong going big.”
After unpacking the TV from the box, the Bravo couple placed it on their sleek entertainment center, which appeared to be just the right size. Kyle proceeded to remove the plastic protector from the screen with an expression of awe.
“THIS WAS REALLY SATISFYING!” he captioned the Story.
Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's Living Situation
The two started casually dating in 2015 before Kyle entered the Bravoverse. After a few bumps in the road, Kyle and Amanda eventually became exclusive by the end of Summer House Season 1. They got engaged in September 2018 and finally tied the knot about three years later with a ceremony in Hillsborough, New Jersey. The husband and wife have remained in the Big Apple ever since and have no immediate plans to relocate.
Amanda and Kyle addressed a possible move during the Summer House Season 6 reunion, when the former asked, “When are we gonna buy a house?”
“When it’s not a bad market,” Kyle replied.
The Loverboy boss also touched on the subject during NBCUniversal’s Upfronts presentation last year, insisting he and his wife were on the same page.
“There’s been lots of talks about like, ‘How long are we going to stay in the city?’” he told BravoTV.com “You know, right now it’s a frothy real estate market, which gives me a little time. I think I want to try to ride this out in New York [City] a little longer. I’m thinking Amanda is starting to kind of agree. Like, we don’t know, are we going to Westchester [County, New York]? Are we going to New Jersey? Connecticut? There [are] so many options. Right now, we’re still trying to build Loverboy, and we have an office now here, and I just can’t imagine a world in which we had to commute. So, TBD.”
