Elaine Welteroth Shows Off a Fierce, Shorter Hairstyle
The Project Runway judge's latest hair change was a surprise... even to her.
Elaine Welteroth is switching things up in the hair department.
On March 9, the talk show host and Project Runway judge took to Instagram to debut a hair change she apparently had "no say in." The journalist looked fierce in a two-piece denim set by Ellery, which featured a striped midi skirt and a cropped blazer vest. In a dramatic change from her signature curls, Elaine sported a sleek, honey blonde bob that fell just above her shoulders.
"Currently distracting myself from all the breaking news bombs dropping left and right that have me feeling too many thingsssss... with this faux bob that [Angela Christine] gave me without asking," Elaine shared in the caption. According to Elaine, her hairstylist created the faux bob style on her when she "was busy on the phone and my contacts weren’t in so she knew I couldn’t see what she was doing." She added, "Clearly I had absolutely no say in this."
Even though the faux bob wasn't Elaine's idea, it looks like she's feeling her new 'do. "I kinda love her," she wrote.
Elaine isn't the first Bravoleb to give the faux lob a try. The hairstyle — which is usually created with the help of hair extensions and gives the illusion of shorter hair — has been worn by Shannon Beador, Kyle Richards, Stephanie Hollman, and Scheana Shay.
