Kylie Jenner's Daughter Was Almost Named This (It's Not Stormi With an E or Anything Butterfly-Related)
Spoiler: Stormi Webster's almost-name still involves nature, though.
When Kylie Jenner gave birth to her daughter, Stormi Webster, on February 1, 2018, some of her fans initially speculated that she had named the baby Butterfly or even Posie (a nickname for Mariposa, which is Spanish for butterfly) because butterflies had been popping up on her social media in several forms, including rings and room décor.
The makeup mogul isn't commenting on whether some form of butterfly was originally on the name table, but she did just reveal another one of the names that she considered before Stormi.
"One name I will tell you guys, because I don't think I'm ever going to name my daughter this (another daughter), but I wanted to name her Rose," she revealed on Instagram Live on Tuesday.
She went on to add that Rose was a third runner-up, and she's keeping her second-choice name to herself (besides revealing that it is "a very weird name... but I love it") — presumably in case she wants to think about using it for a second child (hopefully).
