Why Wasn't Tristan Thompson at the Kardashian Family Christmas Party?
True Thompson and Khloe Kardashian partied it up — but where was daddy?
Even after the news of Tristan Thompson's cheating scandal broke, Khloe Kardashian has worked to maintain a cordial relationship with the father of her little one, True. But, if things between the reality star and the basketball pro are really OK, why wasn't Tristan at the Kardashians' massive family Christmas bash? (We mean, even Paris Hilton and Caitlyn Jenner were there!) Turns out, there's a pretty simple explanation for that.
A source told E! News that Thompson couldn't make the Winter Wonderland-themed bash due to work obligations. Thompson played in a game on December 23, and was scheduled to play in another one the day after Christmas. But, don't forget that Khloe spent Thanksgiving in Cleveland, so it's not like True's daddy missed all her first holidays.
The source also said: "Khloe wanted to be in L.A. with her family for Christmas. There was nothing more special than seeing True with her cousins on Christmas morning. There was no way she was going to miss the family Christmas Eve party and being a part of opening presents all together on Christmas morning."
