Why Is Tristan Thompson Defending Khloe Kardashian Months After Their Split?

Tristan Thompson and Khloe Kardashian have been more than done for about six months now, yet the NBA star took to his social media this week to defend her name seemingly out of nowhere.

"I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming nba season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible. I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100% false," he wrote in a tweet.

"Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE," he continued in a second tweet. "The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary. She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings. Both Khloè and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids."

Daily Mail noted that leaked court transcripts between Tristan and Jordan Craig, the mother of his first child, include Craig's claims that he hooked up with Khloe while they were still together, which Khloe refuted on her Instagram Stories.

"He pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met. He had me talk with his most inner circle," she insisted.

While a partner who cheats might actually be a turn-on for some people, it looks like Tristan is recognizing that his exes aren't overjoyed at what he's done to both of them.
