Last we heard, David Foster and Katharine McPhee were "leaning toward a small wedding." But does that mean... a small wedding on a private island that they plan to purchase? With a private concert from Mariah Carey? Otherwise, what kind of a wee gathering could cost a whopping $50 million?
Though this is definitely scuttlebutt rather than a verified truth, it's been said that the couple's wedding will have a rather exorbitant price tag. And after catching wind of a headline that read: "Rumor Has It: Katharine McPhee and David Foster Are Planning a $50 Million Wedding," David's daughters Sara and Erin Foster chimed in.
Comments by Celebs caught the wry comments. "There goes my inheritance," wrote Erin. "Our inheritance was gone a long time ago FYI," Sara retorted.
But at least the Champagne will definitely be top shelf?
Meanwhile, Katharine's future stepdaughters have a history of joking with her. After posting a photo of her dad's bride-to-be in a bikini on a recent family vacation, Sara wrote on Instagram: "When your mom refuses to dress age appropriately."
