Why Pete Davidson and Kate Beckinsale Just Might Be a Match Made in Heaven

There are plenty of skeptics who say that Pete Davidson, 25, and Kate Beckinsale, 45 could never last — if indeed, they are a thing. But at least one Housewife thinks there could be something to this pairing, even if that something is a "Diamond D." (Confused? Click here.) And there are even people close to Davidson, like Nick Cannon, who think this maybe couple could be in it for the long haul. 

Here's what Cannon had to say, while hosting The Wendy Williams Show on February 4: "Last night I was hanging out with my little brother, Pete Davidson. We was in Brooklyn! We were having some good conversation. We were having cougar conversations. I taught that young boy well."

As photos of Davidson and Beckinsale appeared on the screen next to him, Cannon said: "I will take credit for it. I'm the one who told him, 'Get you an older woman, man!' I said that. Leave them little pop stars alone! An old woman knows what she wants! She don't play no games! That's what I'm talking about. Get you somebody older!" Whoa! So even Davidson's close friends are saying it's on. OK, good to know! 

But, what are people from Beckinsale's camp saying? Well, one source close to the Pearl Harbor actress told People: "Kate’s not looking to get serious with someone ... she wants to have fun with guys and date around. She loves the attention from the younger men she dates. It makes her feel good about herself too. She doesn’t care what people think."

Do we sense a Kate tattoo in Pete's future?
