Here’s the Latest With Nikki Bella — And How Does John Cena Fit In?

The love affair between Nikki Bella and John Cena has more fast moves than ... well, than a wrestling match! One minute the couple is on; the next they're off. One day, they're set to walk down the aisle; later, the wedding is off. And if you think it's exhausting to keep up with these two buff lovebirds as a mere fan, just imagine what it's like to be in their shoes. Because as Bella recently confirmed, there was been a bit of a slow-down in their relationship — and it sounds like the break is much needed on both ends. 

Speaking to ET, the Total Divas star revealed that she and Cena haven't spoken in a while. "He's doing him and I'm doing me," she said. "I slowly feel like I'm [focusing on myself.] I think it's happiness, and just fully being happy and that's what I want." She continued: "I just feel like I'm at that age where I'm discovering who I really am and what I want out of life and ... independence. Is it scary and you do have these moments of like, 'What am I doing?' — and fear. I just kind of am liking the challenge."

So, is the raven-haired beauty back on the market? " I've got to admit I am single but I'm not ready for mingling yet," she said frankly. That's certainly a mature, self-aware statement — and it's not like she's missing out on too much! 

Previously, Bella said: "It’s kind of boring in the dating life ... Usually the person that I date at night is Netflix and my black licorice. They’re very satisfying." Later, she clarified those remarks with ET: "I made a joke about dating, Netflix and black licorice and how it gets boring and it turned into this whole thing where I got quoted saying dating life is boring," she said. "I was like, 'No I said Netflix and black licorice and [was boring]." 

Here's hoping someone comes along that blows both TV and chewy candy out of the water. But for now, it sounds like Bella is doing just fine on her own.
