Lena Dunham Comes to Jordyn Woods' Defense Following the Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal
The Girls creator does have a point when it comes to the now-infamous Jordyn Woods/Khloe Kardashian feud.
Lena Dunham is defending Jordyn Woods in the wake of the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal — and she’s got a point. What were you doing at 21?
The Girls star, 32, tweeted about allegations that Kylie Jenner‘s now-former BFF hooked up with her sister Khloe Kardashian‘s boyfriend at a house party earlier this month.
“Can you imagine if who you’d made out with when you were 21 had massive public shaming consequences?” Dunham wrote. “When I was 21 I kissed my friend’s crush in my bathroom during a dinner party. I was inexplicably wearing a dog leash. I stayed in bed for days feeling hot shame. That was enough of a consequence! Nobody slashed prices on my eyeliner brand or whatever. The legal drinking age is 21. The legal going on TV age should be 26. Just weighing in on the important national issues!”
(After the very public makeout, Jenner slashed the price of her Kylie Cosmetics “Jordy” Velvet Liquid Lipstick Lip Kit in half.)
In the past, Dunham has repeatedly declared her love for all things Kardashian — she loves their business acumen and their curvy bods. She reminded a fan she wasn’t “coming” for the family but rather reminding people to be human, and that everyone makes mistakes.
“I’m not coming for the K’s! I love and respect them,” she said. “It’s just A LOT of media attention on a very young girl’s sexual choices and my heart aches when I see that.”
Meanwhile, Woods is set to give her first interview since the scandal broke on Jada Pinkett Smith's talk show, Red Table Talk, on Friday. Call it must-see TV (on Facebook Watch).
She has since moved out of Jenner’s home. The family is reportedly reminding Woods that she has an “ironclad NDA” and that if she spills details about the family, there will be consequences.
