Kim Kardashian Is Going Around Telling Everyone What Her Family Smells Like
"I smell so, so good." - Kim Kardashian.
So that’s why Kim Kardashian married Kanye West. He smells like money.
Let’s back up. While out promoting her latest KKW Body fragrance, Kim got into a bizarro conversation about smell with The Cut, revealing what she thinks is the worst smell, what doesn’t belong in perfume (grapefruit), and what everyone in her family smells like. Yes, you read that right.
To start, Kanye’s natural scent smells like money. We’re imagining she doesn't mean the crumpled-up dollar bills you have at the bottom of your bag. We’re thinking she means more like the fresh, crisp, bright green cash that comes in a tightly sealed envelope that you give to your staff of housekeepers and nannies.
“[He] smells… Rich. I can’t explain it, but like a rich person,” Kim said. “Like… money, I don’t know! He smells like what you think a really expensive, Saint Laurent fragrance campaign would be.”
Oddly, she doesn’t describe her mother’s scent, but we’re guessing it’s dark and musky, yet comfy and regal, kind of like the inside of a Rolls Royce.
Kendall’s smell? Supermodel. OK, is she angling for everyone to get a perfume deal? “Kendall has no scent — which is a good thing. She just always smells fresh and clean, and smells like a supermodel; exactly what you think she would smell like,” Kim said.
She swears Kylie doesn’t smell like lip kits, instead she smells like Kim’s original perfume. We smell a plug. “Kylie always smells like one of my original fragrances that have gardenias and jasmine.”
Kourtney smells like “all-natural products” as if anyone can tell what that means. Hemp? Patchouli?
Khloe smells upset at Tristan Thompson. Kidding, but she douses herself in rich oils, “very fruity, but rich in scent. She also likes very white florals.”
As for Kim, she loves her own scent. “I smell so good,” she said. “I layer my fragrances depending on how I’m feeling, because they put me in a mood. I’m always testing new fragrances, so people always come up to me and ask, ‘What is that? That smells so good.'”
The worst smell according to her: "s**t or throw up,” not surprising with a houseful of kids.
