Kathie Lee Gifford, Now in Nashville, Is Dating Again (!)
The former TODAY host is finding love in Music City — here's what we know about her new guy, Randy Cronk.
Kathie Lee Gifford admitted earlier this year that she'd only been on one date since her husband, Frank Gifford, passed away in 2016. But now, the former TODAY host has moved to Nashville to work on music and it looks like she has found herself a new beau at the same time.
The Daily Mail did some snooping and caught Gifford in a romantic embrace at a Journey concert in Music City earlier this week. The publication identified her friend as Randy Cronk, a local insurance agent who is nine years her junior. The pair looked carefree and happy as they hugged and watched the show together.
“I had a friend of mine who asked me a couple of years ago after Frank passed, he said, ‘Sorry, I guess Frank was the love of your life, right?’ … And I said ‘so far.’ I was kind of surprised by my answer because it was like optimistic, so far,” she told PEOPLE in May.
Her standards are high, though.
“I’m not interested in something that isn’t magnificent,” she asserted. "Do I need companionship? Yes, I do, and that's one of the main reasons I moved to Nashville. Not that I'm looking for a man. What I'm looking for is an active, vibrant life."
