The actress is dating much-younger SNL comedian Pete Davidson, and it's getting serious.
Kate Beckinsale isn't here for the ageism that she's experiencing on social media, all because she's dating 20-years-younger SNL star Pete Davidson, who was previously linked to pop star Ariana Grande.
“You like them young! (Now don’t fight back and roast me just quietly stew and take the hit),” SNL alum David Spade teased her in the comments of an Instagram post where she's hanging out with an actual cheetah cub.
Beckinsale wasn't about to be quiet: "@Davidspade never gonna happen grandpa,” she replied.
"I really think she’s into like the... sexy-ugly types," Millionaire Matchmaker alum Patti Stanger told The Daily Dish podcast when she was asked what she thinks of the recent PDA photos of the couple, who appear to be picking up steam.
"I think he thinks he won the lottery and the jackpot and it’s like 'eff you' to Ariana cause... c’mon, right?! It’s too quick, too soon, and it’s the better version of Ariana, the hotter version. And it’s a more age-appropriate version, but I don’t know if this thing’s gonna last," Stanger said.
"I think they’re having a fun time... he’s so hurt over the whole crash-and-burn situation, he’s going to take the biggest fish on the carpet to go 'screw you.' And who better than Kate 'cause ….she is the bar on beauty. Any guy would have done it."
Meanwhile, Beckinsale had a fiercely awesome response to all the critiques of their PDA when pictures emerged of them kissing next to a lonely-looking Antoni Porowski from Queer Eye, which became a meme for all types of relationship goals and issues.
"Antoni is gay, if that helps clarify at all #queereye," she wrote on an Instagram post featuring the meme.
In any case, what seems clear is that, no matter what other people have to say about Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson as a couple, they seem to be enjoying themselves completely. In fact, they may even be taking it to the next level, if their recent dinner with her family is any indication. Grandpa will just have to deal with it.
