Did Priyanka Chopra Jonas Skip Meghan Markle’s Baby Shower Because She Didn’t Attend Her Wedding?
During her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Priyanka Chopra Jonas weighed in on rumors surrounding her friendship with the duchess.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is famously friends with Meghan Markle. But, even though the Quantico actress made an appearance at the royal wedding last May, the duchess wasn't at Chopra Jonas' wedding to Nick Jonas in December. That could, of course, have something to do with the fact that Markle is pregnant and can't travel as readily as she used to — but the rumor mill started putting out feud stories before we could say 18-foot wedding cake. And when Chopra Jonas wasn't at Markle's baby shower, that only fueled the gossip of a spat.
When she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on March 21, Chopra Jonas finally had a chance to weigh in on the rumors. In the video above, a caller asked the actress, "Are the rumors true that you were upset that Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?" Andy Cohen added, "They said you didn't go to her baby shower because you were pissed at her." Chopra Jonas has a short reply: "No, that's not true."
But since we, like the duchess, weren't able to make it to the epic Indian wedding, Chopra Jonas filled us in on a few juicy details. First, she spilled the tea on some of the less thrilling wedding gifts that she and her hubby received, including cushion covers and a chess board.
But that's certainly not all Chopra Jonas spilled. Andy spent a couple of minutes grilling the newlywed about all the details of her big day, and she was happy to respond.
