Ben Affleck Had to Leave His Movie’s Press Tour in Asia and Rush Back to L.A. for This Surprising Reason
Ben Affleck's got strong thoughts on that back tattoo, too.
Ben Affleck juggles a lot of Hollywood titles like actor, director, producer, and writer, but he just revealed his absolute cutest title: Little League coach for his son Samuel, 7.
"I’m a coach on the Little League team and it’s going great,” he said proudly on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “He’s awesome, it’s a lot of fun. The kids are great kids. I do have to wear a Dodgers hat, because that is the team, but you know…" he trailed off, perhaps wanting to rep for his Boston Red Sox.
Ben left work in Asia promoting his latest film, Triple Frontier, to come home and coach for Samuel's team, but he did so with pleasure.
“It’s one of those things, you love it so much, it’s like the dad dream,” he said.
Incidentally, Ben also discussed his infamous phoenix rising from the ashes back tattoo in the Ellen interview, where he stuck up for it just as much as his former flame, Jen Garner, dissed it. He said it "represents something important to me. It’s meaningful to me, I like it. I love my tattoo. I’m very happy with it. Luckily, I’m the one who has it."
